Anyone can enlighten me about the inserts for the SS and the LS ??

well.. since noone is helpin ya out.. here is MY input.. theres three types Soft Med Hard Soft- i am primarily using for Color packing,blending and shading especially for Black and grey work Med- big color packing (solid saturation-black etc) and definately Lining in the Long stroke Hard- couldnt tell you.. some say its the best thing for if you are used to rotaries and really dont want to have the machine "give" on you... i dont know cause im not keen on using it. but each uses them for other things, i believe carson uses this one primarily.. but ive worn out two soft inserts in no time flat.. because i love the feel on the soft hit.... Now if your asking for what machine does what??? the Standard Stroke SS and Long Stroke LS are to each ones own liking, if you like a long throw machine for lining, great, shading, cool, i personally use the SS for Shade and the LS for Lining exclusively YMMV!

Thanks for the in put. I have 1x ss 1xll. I've only used the ls once as i had problems and the needlekept sticking in the skin no matter what speed i had it at. Steve sent me new replacement gaskets for this. I got them today and will try 2moro. I've used the ss with the med insert for color and black and grey. I liked it for the b&g but not so much for the color. Gonna try the soft insert for the color. Cheers
